About client
Drivers are able to find available parking spaces easily in matter of seconds, they can book parking space on desired location in advance.
Vision and goal
Early vision
At the beginning, client needed an easy & smart mobile application that would be very simple with core functionalities, but we had a plan to leave a space for scaling up and adding extended features in near and far future, according to their business plan and financial round developments.
Challenge and Solution
We knew that mobile app needed to be very simple and intuitive. WePark users are most of the time on the move while using the app so there is no room for redundant information or bad user experience. Drivers are able to find available parking spaces easily in matter of seconds and they can book parking space on desired location in advance.
WePark app navigates them to their destination with secured easy entrance option available over the special hardware developed by WePark and connected into the app. Price is calculated per minute of parking and at the end of parking time they are paying cashless, all trough app.
Additional developments
In addition to mobile app, we designed web platform that would allow everything that native mobile app would do with few upgrades (new features). Main feature upgrade was to allow parking space owners to monetize their parking space by renting it when it is available and there is no additional cost for owners. Also, user would be able to track analytics and control data and earnings.
User profile is divided into the basic, company and vip plans. Whole application user experience was leveled up by adding releveant filters some other microinteracitons. The application architecture and design needed to be flexible and modular, allowing extensions in accordance with future business plans and providing to every party in the ecosystem relevant data.
Results
Since we have been cooperating, WePark has grown and got an increase in the number of users, won few startup prizes (InnoEnergy PowerUp, ZICER Startup Factory) and became part of EIT Climate-KIC accelerator.
